Annotation:

The student will interpret the work of the German philosopher H. Blumenberg in terms of his methodology. The concept of phenomenological anthropology (based on the work of A. Gehlen) is fundamental in the work of H. Blumenberg and is the basis for the conception of the world, reality, the subject, lebenswelt, metaphorology, philosophy of history, time and all other central categories of Blumenberg's philosophy. The main aim of the thesis is to organize and systematically interpret these categories according to the principles of phenomenological anthropology. Knowledge of the German language is essential.
