Young Philosophy – Continental Section (languages: English and French)
We invite you to submit papers related to the work of keynotes Joseph Cohen and Raphael Zagury-Orly: German Idealism (Kant to Hegel), Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Phenomenology (Husserl, Heidegger, Levinas, Sartre, Merleau-Ponty), Hermeneutics (Gadamer, Ricoeur), French contemporary philosophy (Derrida, Deleuze, Lyotard, Foucault), Critical Theory. Their recent research on European nihilism and its various manifestations in modernity has brought them to focus their work on the philosophical and theological questions of "revelation", "apocalypse" and "election". These two philosophers published, translated and edited many books – Joseph Cohen (Alternances de la métaphysique, 2009, Le sacrifice de Hegel, 2007, Le spectre juif de Hegel, 2005, Husserl dictionary, 2012), Raphael Zagury-Orly (Questionner encore, 2011, translations of Derrida, Bataille and Deleuze to Hebrew). Their work is translated to different languages and they edited important publications as for example Judéités. Questions pour Jacques Derrida, 2003, Penser avec Jacques Derrida, 2006, Heidegger et les juifs, 2015, Derrida. L'événement déconstruction, 2012. They work on philosophical different platforms as Les Rencontres philosophiques de Monaco (http://philomonaco.com/) and Colloque des intellectuels juifs de langue française (https://www.franceculture.fr/evenement/colloque-des-intellectuels-juifs-...).
